Building Confidence, Creating Art, and Helping Young Dancers Find Their Spotlight

For Becca Bisbee, dance is about far more than learning choreography or nailing the perfect performance. It’s about helping young people discover what they’re capable of, find their confidence, and feel like they belong. As co-owner of Visionary Dance Co. in Elkhorn, Becca has turned her passion for dance and education into a place where young dancers throughout Walworth County can grow both on and off the stage.
Becca earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 2018 and has been teaching dance in Walworth County since 2020. In 2023, she and her business partner, Jailyn Seitz, turned years of friendship and a shared background in dance into Visionary Dance Co. The two first met in 2016 as college dance majors, and today they work together to build a studio centered on creativity, encouragement, and community.
Known for her positive energy and the genuine relationships she builds with students, Becca makes it a priority to ensure every dancer feels seen, valued, and supported. Families recognize the difference that personal connection makes, and her approach goes beyond teaching steps and routines. Through dance, she helps students develop discipline, express themselves creatively, build friendships, and take pride in what they accomplish.
Becca is especially passionate about changing the way people view work with children. Teaching dance, she believes, is not simply about keeping kids busy or having fun. It requires skill, dedication, creativity, and a deep understanding of how to encourage young people as they learn and grow. For her, every class is an opportunity to help a student discover a new ability, overcome a challenge, or gain the confidence to try something they once thought was out of reach.
Through Visionary Dance Co., Becca creates opportunities for young people to perform, connect, and become part of something bigger than themselves. Her work contributes to the local arts community while giving families a welcoming place to celebrate their children’s growth and achievements.
Outside the studio, Becca is a mom of two who draws much of her inspiration from her family. She loves exploring Walworth County’s parks, restaurants, local events, and activities with the people closest to her. Those same values of connection and belonging are woven into the environment she works to create for her students.
Passionate, outgoing, and always bringing the energy, Becca believes the real magic of dance happens when young people feel safe enough to be creative, brave enough to challenge themselves, and proud of what they can achieve. At Visionary Dance Co., she’s helping the next generation find its rhythm—and the confidence to take that feeling with them long after the music stops.
