The Pub Crawl Guy Who Turns a Good Time Into a Great Cause

If there’s a way to bring people together, support local businesses, and raise money for a good cause, Jordan Barr is probably already organizing it. As co-owner of Sports Page Barr and president of the Walworth County Tavern League, Jordan has made a name for himself as a young leader who knows how to turn a fun idea into a meaningful community impact.
Jordan’s signature event, the Leprechaun Leap Pub Crawl, has raised nearly $40,000 for Lakeland Animal Shelter since it began in 2022. What started with $2,000 in its first year has grown to an impressive $15,000 raised in 2026 alone. Jordan continually finds ways to make the event bigger and better, including promising to donate his long hair to Wigs for Kids if the community reached its fundraising goal. The community delivered, and Jordan kept his word.
His charitable efforts don’t stop there. Jordan recently helped organize a fundraiser for the Gilbert Brown Foundation, bringing six former Green Bay Packers players to six local businesses and raising $26,000 for children’s charities. He also helps coordinate the Beast of Bray Road Pub Crawl, supports local youth through sponsorships and livestock auction purchases at the Walworth County Fair, and gives back to the rugby team he once played for.
At just 27, Jordan was elected the youngest president in the history of the Walworth County Tavern League, which represents nearly 100 members across the county. Under the league’s leadership, more than $250,000 was donated to charities last year, alongside community events and the SafeRide program, which helps keep impaired drivers off the road. Jordan has also served as chairman of the league’s state-level Nomination Committee, reflecting the trust his peers place in his leadership.
But Jordan’s approach to leadership isn’t complicated: bring people together, make it fun, and give them a reason to care. He believes charitable events can benefit everyone involved—local businesses gain support, community members connect, and worthy causes receive the help they need.
Outside of work, Jordan enjoys baseball, football, competitive darts, fishing, and taking the occasional drive down a back road. He’s also proud of his family, including his dad and co-owner, Mike, his mom, Betty, a successful restaurateur, and his older brother, Mike, a middle school science teacher. And in a plot twist worthy of a Wisconsin comedy, Jordan is a bar owner who has chosen sobriety, approaching his personal goals with the same determination he brings to his community work.
Jordan doesn’t just show up for Walworth County—he creates opportunities for others to show up, too. His events prove that doing good doesn’t have to feel like work; sometimes, it starts with a great idea, a few local businesses, and a pub crawl with a purpose.

I'm so proud of you!!
